Prior to forming Registration Solutions, Mrs. Newman functioned as a senior project manager for a large securities consulting firm where she was instrumental in processing dozens of new member applications ranging from small boutique size private placement firms to the large full service general securities trading firms. Mrs. Newman was responsible for acting as a liaison with attorneys, clearing brokers and accounting firms. She coordinated branch office registrations and inspections, as well as mentored administrative staff members in all aspects of broker-dealer compliance or registrations projects.
Mrs. Newman also has industry experience with two large global retail securities firms wherein she functioned as Assist Operations Manager, Lead Cashier and a New Accounts Clerk, Assistant Wire Operator, and Administrative Assistant for several producing brokers and investment bankers. Mrs. Newman also has experience in the investment banking industry where she functioned as administrative assistant supporting the preparation, compilation, and distribution of valuation packages and information memorandums for M&A transactions.
Mrs. Newman served one tour of active duty service in the United States Marine Corps stationed in Little Creek, Norfolk, Virginia. She was Honorably Discharged at the rank of Lance Corporal (E-3). During her service she received recognition and commendations for outstanding service. Mrs. Newman is a native of Houston, Texas, and currently resides in Spring, Texas with her husband; and she has two grown children. She enjoys hiking, mountain climbing, and has completed several triathlons, half-marathons, and century-distance cycling events. She successfully climbed Mt. Charleston outside Las Vegas, Nevada, summiting at 11,900 feet in elevation. Mrs. Newman and her family participate in the BP MS150 two-day bicycle ride from Houston to Austin in April each year to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis.
Mrs. Newman holds a B.S. in Finance from Colorado Technical University, and she is currently working on completing her graduate studies in finance.
