President & Founder, Registration Solutions

Darlean D. Newman brings over 25 years of securities industry experience, supporting both large and small brokerage firms since 1994.

She has successfully guided firms through corporate structuring, registrations with self‑regulatory organizations (SROs), and multi‑state regulatory requirements. Her background includes evaluating, revising, and launching new FINRA membership applications.

Prior to founding Registration Solutions, Ms. Newman served as a Senior Project Manager for a national securities consulting firm, where she led dozens of new member applications, ranging from boutique private placement firms to full‑service broker‑dealers.

Her role included coordination with attorneys, clearing firms, and accounting partners, as well as branch office registrations, inspections, and compliance mentoring.

Ms. Newman also held operational and compliance roles within global retail securities firms and investment banking organizations.

Ms. Newman is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, honorably discharged at the rank of Lance Corporal. She is a Texas native and now lives in southwest Montana.

Outside of her professional work, she is an endurance athlete who has completed multiple triathlons, half‑marathons, and long‑distance cycling events.
